Background

Bukhail Estate is renowned for producing fine Assam teas. Low lying, as are all Assam estates. Bukhail Estate tea bushes are slow growing allowing time for a full flavour to develop. Our Summer Assam is plucked between end of April to mid October. Assam, traditionally, is the tea we British enjoy the most. It's strength makes this tea good with milk. Caffeine content is high enough to get the motor working for breakfast. One thing, over the years the quality of mass market Assam has been very poor. There has been a push for flat flavour and strong caffeine. This should not put you off good Assam these are delicious versatile teas.

No different from any other Black tea. Add three teaspoons of tea to a 750cl teapot. Use boiling water. Steep for between three and six minutes.
